ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

7:30 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2026

1n Person at the Town Office

Jefferson Community Center, 178 Meadows Road, Jefferson, NH

Notice is hereby given that there will be a Public Hearing before the Jefferson Zoning Board of Adjustment to consider the following:

An application for a Variance from Michael & Ashlee Whitman and Linda Raymond in accordance with Article IV, Section 2 of the Land Use Ordinance.  They propose to build a garage closer to a lot line than allowed at 93 Bailey Road, Map 5, Lot 22.

You may attend said meeting or submit your comments in writing to express your reasons why final approval should or should not be granted.  The application is on file for public inspection at the Jefferson Town Office.  If you have any questions, please telephone the town office at 603-586-4553.

Effective July 1, 2025

Per NH RSA 149-M:27, II

“No person shall dispose of any wet-cell batteries, lithium-ion batteries, or electronic devices in any solid waste landfill facility or incinerator in New Hampshire”

The Town of Jefferson Transfer Station can no longer except wet-cell batteries, lithium-ion batteries, or electronic devices with solid waste. All of these items MUST be recycled.

Copies of the Master Plan document are available to read at the Town Office.  One can also review the plan online or download it from the Planning Board page.  The entire list of written survey comments are also now available to read at the Town Office.
