Town of Jefferson Select Board

Monday October 7, 2024

Select Board Meeting @ 7:00 p.m.

Located at the Town Office 178 Meadows Rd.

                                           PUBLIC NOTICE

The general public can no longer access Jefferson Planning Board or Zoning Board meetings via Zoom.  If someone must attend a meeting virtually because they are involved in the application, such as an attorney, surveyor, engineer, etc., they must set it up from their end and ask the town board to join them.  The applicant must inform the Board secretary at least 48 hours in advance of the hearing why this is needed.  The applicant (or the applicant’s designated agent) whose case is being heard must be physically present at the hearing.  Those choosing to participate virtually, also assume the risk of any technical malfunction interfering with such a connection.

The continuance of the hearing for the Phase I application of the Waumbek project scheduled for September 5, 2024, HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO A FUTURE DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.

The next regular meeting of the Planning Board is October 8, 2024, at 7pm.

ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

The Board’s October 10, 2024 meeting has been cancelled.

Notice to Property Owners and Surveyors

As of January 9, 2024, any application for a subdivision or a boundary line adjustment, accepted and approved by the Planning Board will NOT be filed at the Registry of Deeds Office until a digital copy of the approved plan is sent to and received by the town’s Assessor’s Office.

Master Plan Information

Copies of the Master Plan document are available to read at the Town Office.  One can also review the plan online or download it from the Planning Board page.  The entire list of written survey comments are also now available to read at the Town Office.
