Notice of Public Hearing Before the Jefferson Planning Board

 Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Town Office, the Jefferson Planning Board will consider the completeness of the following applications. Should the Planning Board find the applications complete, a public hearing will immediately follow:

  • James Goulet, 276 Turnpike Rd., Jefferson, NH 03583 for a proposal to subdivide his property into two lots, Map 6, Lot 2B.
  • Richard Garabedian and James and Diane Quirk, Chambers Road, Jefferson, NH 03583 for a proposal to adjust boundary lines, no new lots to be created, Map 17, Lots 3, 3A, and 5B.

NOTICE – ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

Notice is hereby given that at 7:30 PM on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Town Office, there will be a Public Hearing before the Zoning Board of Adjustment to consider the following:

  • An application for a Variance from Albert and Carol Ponte, in accordance with Article IV, Section 2 of the Land Use Ordinance. They propose to construct a storage shed and then a residence at 285 Israel’s River Road, Map 14, Lot 33G, closer to a lot line than allowed in the Land Use Ordinance.
  • An application for a Special Exception from Marie Cameron, in accordance with Article III, Section 2 of the Land Use Ordinance and a potential required Variance in accordance with Article IV, Section 2 of the Land Use Ordinance. She proposes to operate a home-based business, conducting crafting classes in a smaller building, which may be closer to a lot line than allowed, beside her residence at 122 Presidential Highway, Map 1, Lot 19.

The Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm at the Town Office for additions and corrections to the checklist before the State Primary on September 13, 2022.
